“Chalk Link Social,” was an experimental drawing project for the show “Drawing is a Verb” in Seattle. Players were instructed via voice recording (with accompanying glockenspiel) to circle their physical place on the floor with chalk and draw lines to connect to others, mapping their immediate social structure, and performing the “drawing” on site. Three recordings invited waves of art viewers to connect to friends, acquaintances, and strangers to illustrate their networks and expand their community.
